redorangeballoons: This scares me. Especially the amount of reblogs it got, meaning the amount of people who believe in this. I think this is a reason a lot of people kill themselves, to get “revenge” on those who didn’t care about them, and I hope I can convince them to not. They will cry. They will grief. They will have regrets. They will never forget you. But they will move on. Not because they are cruel, but because it is the right thing to do. Grieving forever will not bring you back to them. They know that. If you need proof, look into the world. Widows remarry, friends of the deceased go back to school. Not because they are cruel and don’t care about the one who died, but because it is the strong thing to do. Yes, it will be very satisfying to look down on them for the first few months. See what they whisper to your body, see the hysterical apologizes they cry. Oh, it would feel so good. But that will end. You will see them go on in their lives. Still visit your grave, still say prayer, tell stories of you to their children- but also laugh, celebrate, travel, go out, get promoted, have families. And you won’t be able to join them. Even if by then you’ve gotten your satisfaction and want to go back, you won’t be able to. So please. It’s not worth it. I promise, it’s not worth it.
